Malayalam film BODYGUARD is being remade in Hindi with Salman Khan in the lead and to star opposite him, producer Atul Agnihotri has chosen Kareena Kapoor. Earlier, the producer had approached Katrina Kaif with the role, but she refused the film as she didn't have dates matching the scheduled release of the film on Eid next year.

Hot Deepika Padukone will play lead opposite Hot Bollywood Hunks Salman Khan, but the actress has not signed the dotted line yet. At that time the producer Atul Agnihotri chosen kareena kapoor.

As Salman Khan Brother in law Atul Agnihotri is producer, he said that, we are still completing other important tasks before we decide on signing the actors.
